We can’t resist Turkish cuisine – platters of mezze, hot breads, succulent lamb, kebab, Ottoman cuisine, and fresh grilled fish are pure delight. Istanbul also boasts a number of excellent restaurants offering international cuisine including Japanese, Italian, French and Scandinavian. In nice weather, many restaurants have terraces or open air spaces to enjoy the balmy Istanbul nights and street vendors offer local treats including roasted corn and semit.
